When you wake up, and start your day
Look to the ground, carefully do say
These are my footprints, this is my way
Then you solidify, to make you stay
If we dismiss those moments of heart
Surely to end up, again once apart
Heed my words, and then you will start
To finally realize, you weren't all so smart
Some always strive for, that longing of end
This is the feeling, that I hope to mend
For what you set forth, what you would send
Allow it to be free, allow it to bend
The things that we know, in hearts to be true
Will easily find, their way upon you
The are meant to uplift us, yet to subdue
Those feelings of guilt, that do accrue
Slowly and stubbornly, I let this rhyme die
I scan once again, to check I don't lie
