A World Once Known

Lost bemusing thought
Music writ to page
Guided hand begot
Spinning in a daze

In my sight beheld, your blazing fire
Flames of hope to meld
To ignite words of my desire
Alone bereft, sure to be subdued

Remembered language written
Fleeting hope  absorbed
Long lost love, once smitten
Again to be reborn

My hope is of the greatest kind
A hope to form connections
In hopes it might absolve our minds
Avoiding all dissensions

So walk with me in brilliance
Naught, but beauty shown
Once again be free to dance
Birth the world once known
