Glory Days

Let me show you secrets

Laid deep within your mind

Lose all of the regrets

Peace one day, we'll find

This poem is an emotion

Cast upon this land

It's set to sail an ocean

And in it, I do stand

Not to come too early

But not a second late

Hoping it might hurl thee

Through heavens pearly gate

Words that came from darkness

They only show by chance

I see you truly want this

Lets start a memory dance

I know where we all came from

It started with a spark

Made from clear intention

We were lead into the dark

There we made a life

Deep among dark shadow

To walk among all strife

Waiting to just let go

To stay within all being

Not knowing what was there

We needed to start seeing

The beauty life could bear

We split ourself in parts

Alone we walked as one

Set to purify our hearts

To birth a brand new sun

Here we stand today

Breaking through this haze

And I can truly say

These are the glory days
